Why use low-height access platforms?<\/h2>\n

Using the ladder as a work tool<\/span> is a big mistake.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b>According to the royal decree of RD2177\/2004<\/span>, the staircase must be used only as a means of <\/b>ACCESS.<\/b> <\/span> <\/p>\n

To work at height, you must have the necessary means, in addition to following the stipulated safety criteria.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2019<\/strong> , 695<\/strong> people died due to workplace accidents, according to the<\/span>Ministry of Labor<\/span><\/a>. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Of these 69<\/strong>5 people, 475 died during their working day and 146 did so ‘in itinere’, when they were going to or returning from their work. <\/span>621 of these people were salaried and 74 of them self-employed. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Falls from heights were the third most frequent cause of fatal accidents in 2019. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In conclusion, a total of 85 people died as a result of a fall from height, 13% of all fatal accidents, placing falls from height as the third most frequent cause of fatal accident after traffic accidents.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Ladders are one of the most dangerous elements of use at work.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

In them, around 5,000 accidents occur a year and one in ten usually ends in disability or death. <\/span>What are the reasons? <\/b><\/p>\n
